PHAT TUESDAY: “Far From New” (Live @ Apple Store)

It’s that time of the week again where we present a new Les Vinyl-related video for your viewing pleasure.

This week it’s the first ever documented full-band video recording of the song “Far From New.”

Local fans may have already heard this song, but perhaps it has never sounded as tight as it did the night Les Vinyl unleashed their sound inside the Apple store in NYC.

Sign Up For The Mailing List, New EP, Mike Pinho Video, And Upcoming Shows

That new music is so close you can almost feel it!

Hey everyone!

How have you been? Good? Great!

Big thanks to everyone who came out to the big show at the Knitting Factory the other night. We <3 you long time!

If you haven’t signed up for the mailing list, go over and do that asap! That way you’ll be sent periodic updates about Les Vinyl and all the cool things we’re up to and would LOVE for you to be a part of.

…..and, oh, by the way, if you sign up for the mailing list you’ll be sent a FREE EP OF NEW SONGS very soon. How soon? Well, I’ll just say you’d be wise to sign-up for the mailing list as soon as you can if you haven’t already…like by the end of this weekend soon.

Remember: the mailing list is the ONLY WAY to get this new EP before everyone else.

Also, the great Mike Pinho shot some seriously pro footage of Les Vinyl’s release show a while back at Marie’s Gourmet in Staten Island. Here is the most-professionally shot video footage you’ll see all day.

Finally, here are a couple upcoming show dates (with more to be added):

8/11 – Local 269 in Manhattan, NY @ 11pm

8/26 – Apple Store; Staten Island Mall, NY

Les Vinyl To Play Northside Festival

A Letter From Les Vinyl

Wow. It’s been a couple days since our album release party and we’re
still reeling from the excitement of the event. A HUGE ‘thank you’ to
all the people that came out.

Much appreciation goes to the beautiful, familiar faces that we keep
seeing at our shows. You keep stirring our innovative pot. We want to
keep things fresh for you – like a musical bakery or something.

There were a ton of new faces too! We got to meet some of you but it
was hard to get around to everyone. Daniel  – a new face – had seen us
play once or twice before and came out because he saw our promotional
video on YouTube. If you’re reading, Daniel, thank you and we hope to
see you again.

Mario and Bryan of Marie’s Gourmet really made the event something
special. They hooked that shit UP! How good were those WINGS!? Marie’s
Gourmet is hands-down the best restaurant on Staten Island.

Karaoke Killed the Cat was there with guest host Jay Miller. It’s SO
much more than karaoke with these guys. It’s always a rowdy encounter.
‘Great job’ to everyone who got to perform.

Recognition goes to Mike Pihno and Joe Pecora (who produced ‘Bright
Gray’) for helping film and record the show. We have documentation!!!
Russell Eia perfected our live sound all night. If you’re a band and
you need to film or record or anything, send us an email and we’ll put
you in touch with these guys – total professionals.

Well, that’s about it. If you haven’t – download ‘Bright Gray.’ It’s
available on Bandcamp or Itunes. OR BETTER YET, come to a show and get
it!

These are our upcoming dates:
5/24 – Webster Hall in Manhattan, NY @
6/10 – Crash Mansion in Manhattan, NY @ 11pm

Til then, my beloved,
Unabashedly yours,
Keep your stick on the ice,
Les Vinyl
